Endorsed by OACRS for Ontario families of children with disabilities. Links families and caregivers so they can share experiences, knowledge and offer support in their daily challenges. Also provides relevant news current reference materials and forums for parents and caregivers.
Our Children's Voice
“Our Children’s Voice” Parents’ Committee – a group formed by parents whose children are receiving services from Pathways Health Centre for Children. Its purpose is to provide support for children and their families in practical, emotional and social areas of life. The Goals of “Our Children’s Voice” are to:
  • Increase communication between staff, board and families
  • Increase parental input on decision-making
  • Increase community awareness and inclusion of children and youth with special needs
  • Educate parents on issues of interest to them
  • Share information
